Episode 25: Petracovich
August 8, 2006

Hello again everyone,
Last week, we were privileged to sit down with Jessica Peters, who records and performs as Petracovich, at Base Studio, home of some very talented local artists. Petracovich’s style of folktronica blends electronic and acoustic elements to create rich, textured songs that are simultaneously ambient and pop.
We chatted with her about working with collaborators in the studio and on stage, her experiences on her two national tours, and the songwriting process in which she’s currently involved. Also, in this episode you can hear a great live track Jessica gave to us which was recorded at KZSU for the weekly Thursday show, Eran Mukamel.
You can pick up either of Petracovich’s wonderful albums at her web site or on iTunes. Her Myspace page can be found here.
Jessica also has a show coming up next week:
Thursday, August 17th
12 Galaxies
9 pm, with The Love X Nowhere and Audio Out Send
Thanks for listening!

Does heaven exist? If it does, Petracovich’s music surely plays a big part in it.
