Episode 30: Birdmonster
September 12, 2006

Welcome to our 30th Show!
This week we feature San Francisco’s Birdmonster. We caught up with David, Peter, Justin and Zack at the Bay Bridged studios in between tours supporting their excellent full-length debut No Midnight. Over the course of discussing their frenetic live show and their thoughts on the band’s place in the SF music scene, things got a little goofy, making for a fun and memorable night. In addition to the interview, we’ve got four songs from No Midnight, one of which is a live track from WOXY.com.
You can buy Birdmonster’s records from their online store here or on iTunes here and be sure to catch the guys when they get back to San Francisco:
Friday September 29th, 2006
Slim’s
9pm, with Two Seconds and Division Day
(tickets available at Virtuous)
Additionally, thanks to everyone who came out to the Playing in Fog benefit show and participated in our online auction! Thanks to you, we raised a ton of money for a great cause! And if you didn’t see it before, head on over to Pacific Noise to check out an interview we did (as the interviewees, which was at first odd, but ended up being quite enjoyable).
See you next week!
