Episode 55: LoveLikeFire
March 13, 2007

This week’s episode of The Bay Bridged Podcast features LoveLikeFire, a San Francisco-based rock band that is catching the ears of listeners with their unique rock mix of strong melodic guitar work with lyrics that resonate with an emotional honesty.
For being a relatively new band (they’ve only been together for about a year), the foursome is already excelling at the sort of songs that are immediately accessible, but dense and layered to reward repeat listens. Their self-produced debut EP, titled Bed of Gold, is fantastic and what’s really scary is that their latest material may be even better.
Over the weekend, we spoke with Ann and Ted from the band at The Bay Bridged HQ, discussing their approach to songwriting and production, the latest songs they’ve been working on, and their touring plans in 2007. In addition to the interview, we’ve included four songs from the band’s EP and recent recording sessions.
You should definitely try to catch LoveLikeFire this Saturday night:
Saturday, March 17th
Bottom of the Hill
w/ Cold Hot Crash (CD release) and The Federalists
