Tricycle Records Showcase this Thursday
January 7, 2008

The good folks at Tricycle Records are having their latest showcase on Thursday night over at Bottom of the Hill. The show features performances from Tricycle acts The Union Trade, The Aimless Never Miss and Aim Low Kid, as well as DJ sets from Elise Nordling (SOMA FM) and Rosemary Pepper (Rock Foxy).
Headliner The Union Trade mixes atmospheric and alt-country elements on their 2007 debut EP Now the Swell; we understand the band is preparing to record more music in the near future. The atmospheric-soaked tunes of The Aimless Never Miss and the stripped down jangle of newest label member Aim Low Kid open the show. The latter band, who put out their debut album, Soundtrack for the New Depression last year, was recently selected to play in the upcoming Noise Pop Festival.
