Cellspace Sew-Op Fundraiser Friday

This Friday, Sept. 12, three great bands will play at CELLspace to benefit Sew-Op. Wooden Shjips, Battlehooch and Late Young will all play (with DJs in between), with fantastic local art as a backdrop.

Sew-Op (Reconstruction Workshop) is a weekly drop-in course where participants learn sewing, silkscreening, dyeing and bleaching clothes. The funds will go toward key supplies for the class. The event is sponsored by Sparks and there is word of some giveaways if you’re lucky.
The event starts at 6:30 and will run until 1:30am, so drink plenty of Sparks. It costs $10.
