Lemonade Releases Self-Titled Debut Tuesday; Shows This Weekend
October 2, 2008
Our very own frenzied psych-electro outfit Lemonade will release their debut album Tuesday on True Panther Sounds. While filling a niche that is quite sparse in the Bay Area, Lemonade’s new project bombards listeners with what they do best – glitchy laptop sounds and synths galore.

Lemonade – “Sunchips”
The album was recorded by Chris Coady, of TV on the Radio and Blonde Redhead fame, and embraces unconventional and ethnic beats and sounds while maintaining their oft-mentioned DIY aesthetic.
The band will play at the Elbo Room this Friday, Oct. 3, at Disco Shawn’s monthly Tormenta Tropical Party with Buraka Som Sistema (Portugal). They will also be playing at Million Fishes Gallery in the Mission District on Saturday, Oct. 4, with Tussle. Check out their MySpace page for more details.
