Loquat CD Release Saturday at BOTH

San Francisco’s indie electro band Loquat will belatedly celebrate the release of their CD Secrets of the Sea this Saturday at Bottom of the Hill with The Frail and Mist and Mast. The album was released on Talking House Records.

Loquat – “Harder Hit”

Both Loquat and The Frail played this year’s Treasure Island Music Festival (you can see Loquat’s pirate-y photo booth fun above) and they both rocked the house. Many of the songs from the new album were featured in Loquat’s performance. The prog guitars and electro beats compliment vocalist Kylee Swenson’s powerful vocals well, and the overall mood is a sort of indie pop with a bit of oceanic ebb and flow.
