Department of Eagles Ticket Giveaway!

We’ve got a pair of tickets to see Department of Eagles and The Cave Singers at Cafe Du Nord on Sunday, January, 25th. The group, which includes Daniel Rossen (also of Grizzly Bear), landed on numerous “Best of ’08″ lists with the atmospheric folk-pop of In Ear Park. The band also has some history with the Bay; their debut was released by local label American Dust and an early live performance was a session at KDVS.

Department of Eagles – “In Ear Park”
The bands are playing two shows on the 25th, one at 7pm and one at 10pm, and our winner will get two tickets to the show of his or her choice. All you have to do is send an E-mail to contest[at]thebaybridged.com including your name and mailing address and answers to the following question: “Which species of eagle is better: the Booted Eagle or the Harpy Eagle? No explanation of your answer is necessary.” We will draw and notify a winner (and tally the results of our eagle poll) at noon on Thursday, January 22nd.
