Cryptacize: songs from Mythomania

The folks over at Asthmatic Kitty have posted a bunch of mp3s from the excellent new Cryptacize album to whet your appetite for Mythomania‘s arrival on April 21st. This is the second release from the band, which includes Nedelle Torrisi (Nedelle) and Chris Cohen (The Curtains, ex-Deerhoof), and it’s full of catchy, ambitious nuggets of retro-informed art-pop.

I’ve been told that the group had a superb performance at Noise Pop and you can catch them tomorrow night at Bottom of the Hill with Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti and Duchess Says. 9pm, $10/$12.
