Assemble Head In Sunburst Sound – “Two Birds”; new album out now

Okay, so I’m unfortunately too late to plug the band’s CD release show (which was earlier this month at El Rio), but San Francisco psych-rock trio Assemble Head In Sunburst Sound‘s third album When Sweet Sleep Returned is out now on Tee Pee Records. The album was produced by Tim Green at his Louder Studios here in the City, and features a diverse instrumental palette and some great engaging songs. “Two Birds” features harmonies from Brett Constatino and Evan Reese of Sleepy Sun and is a sweeping number that, like the best psychy-rock, paints an ambitious picture around its melodic core:
