June 6th: Von Iva Headlines at Slim’s

San Francisco’s electro-soul queens Von Iva will be making a stop at Slim’s on June 6th as a part of their headlining tour along the West Coast. The band has come a long way, earning several points of recognition in the mainstream media, most notably their work as Zooey Deschanel’s band in the movie Yes Man. Supporting the all girl group on Saturday will be LA’s Gliss and Minneapolis’ Sick of Sarah.

Von Iva – “Guise” (from Girls on Film)
In addition to their headlining tour, Von Iva recently dropped a hot new 12-inch entitled Girls on Film. The EP is being released by Stickfigure Records, and can be ordered from Von Iva’s website or downloaded on iTunes.

I love the music of that band so much. found them on myspace two years ago. I ordered a cd paid it in advance, but never received the cd. that is not fair. so i am very happy for the possibility to download some songs for free. thank you
