Agent Ribbons releases new 7″
July 15, 2009

When the all-lady, Sacramento based trio Agent Ribbons isn’t busy touring with Camera Obscura, they’re tucked away in Placerville, CA recording. This month, the fruits of their labor will be available in the form of a 7” release entitled Your Love is the Smallest Doll. The record is a prime example of Agent Ribbons’ style: melodic, slightly twangy folk-pop. On most tracks, Natalie’s vocals recall country greats like Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn. Staccato rhythms and accordion on the title track lend it the sound of a madcap drinking song.
