Foxtails Brigade – “Chat With Sivan”
Foxtails Brigade will release their debut 7″ Chat With Sivan next Tuesday, August 11th on Third Culture Records, and they’re playing at Cafe Du Nord this Sunday to celebrate. The band is comprised of vocalist-guitarist Laura Weinbach and violinist Sivan Sadeh, and the duo infuse their classical training with a modern folk-pop feel. Foxtails Brigade’s first full-length, The Bread and the Bait, is due out in the fall.
Sunday night at Du Nord, the group will be performing at the third Sunday Night String Stampede, featuring a stellar lineup of some of the Bay’s best string-themed groups. In addition the Brigade, Agent Ribbons, Garrett Pierce and Devotionals will perform. 8pm, $10, 21+.
