Media Monday: Devendra remixes Phoenix, new Brilliant Colors

Folky females Alina Hardin and Alela Diane have compiled a limited quantity 10″ (Rough Trade) which Diane will carry along her tour with Marissa Nadler, stopping here at the Rickshaw on Oct. 27. Here’s a song from the EP:

San Francisco’s Brilliant Colors release their debut full length, Introducing, on Slumberland Records on November 3rd. The group’s already released a couple of sold-out singles and impressed us at a house show earlier this year.

Coincidentally also due out on November 3rd is City Light’s sophomore record, Burned out Bright. The band blends electronic beats with shoegaze-influenced pop.
