The Music Lovers – “Masculine Feminine”

San Francisco’s The Music Lovers are calling it a day this week, with a final, early evening concert at the Make-Out Room this Friday night (7:30pm, $7). The band released three very well-regarded full lengths of cosmopolitan pop on Le Grand Magistery, but according to their MySpace blog, they’re now “scattering to the four corners of the Earth.” The Minks open Friday’s farewell show.

They are not splitting. Rather, a long sabbatical… They can’t split, I’d lose hope in SF.

    Hello,
Ted here from The Music Lovers. Actually, Rex is correct in as much as we aren’t splitting per se, rather we are taking a ‘long sabbatical’… and, we are ’scattering to the 4 corners of the Earth’ i.e. – Taiwan, London and Eire. However, we will return.
Thanks to you all for your support and we really hope to see you on Friday evening.
    Love
    Ted
