Social Studies – “Time Bandit” (from “The Hourglass”)

In anticipation of Social Studies‘ second full length Wind-Up Wooden Heart, the band is offering a “digital double” of two new songs. “Time Bandit” and “We Choose Our Own Adventures” are posted for download on the front page of their web site, where they also offer more info about the release:

The new single “The Hourglass” from the upcoming record, Wind-Up Wooden Heart…could really be called a double as the complimentary sides play with a balance of light and dark that tell a universal human story. “Time Bandit” throws us into an exciting, if uneasy, world crumbling with confusion and regret, whereas “We Choose Our Own Adventures” yearns to break with the routine of a monotonous life.
