The Rumble Wednesday: Jaguar Love, My First Earthquake, Butterfly Bones
February 2, 2010

This month’s edition of the Rumble, while still true to form, will be extra special. First, given that the festival is rapidly approaching, this event is being billed as a “Noise Pop Warm-Up.” Second, the event is saying a sad goodbye to its Harlot roots and moving over to begin a new relationship with Cafe du Nord. And third, the 26th edition of the Rumble will help to celebrate not just one, but TWO birthdays: the 5th birthday of the Owl Mag, and the 7th birthday of one BAGeL Ted and his internet radio genius.

Jaguar Love – “Up All Night”
As per usual, the Rumble (presented by Future Sounds, Stranded in Stereo, and the Owl Mag) will be one big party, with bands and drinks and dancing galore. Jaguar Love from Portland will headline, preceded by local bands My First Earthquake and Butterfly Bones, with DJ sets by BAGeL Ted in between. The event starts at 9:30 pm, 21+, and is free with RSVP via Sonic Living ($5 otherwise).
