The second installment of the show series Strange Dogs continues to dig a little deeper into the Bay Area rock scene with Rank/Xerox, Dick Dog (San Ramon) and Lilac, who we believe is an offshoot of the loud psych-rock collective Honey. If you’re on the prowl for a fresh local find, try Terry Malts: this post-punk trio is refreshingly loud, refreshingly Ramones-venerating, and undeniably your warehouse dance party initiators. Strange Dog 2 will be set way out in Bayview at the “Widowmaker Warehouse” (8pm, $5).
