Sleepy Sun’s Rachel Fannan showcases her solo music

Given her amazing work as a vocalist in Sleepy Sun, it should come as no surprise that Rachel Fannan‘s solo work also sounds compelling. Fannan’s been recording and performing folk-pop for a while as Birds Fled From Me, but she’s back to her given name, with a new solo album called Overwhelm currently in the works. “Thank You,” posted above, is off that upcoming record.
Rachel will be joined by a full band at the Rickshaw Stop on June 9th (8pm, $10). Also performing are The Yellow Dress and Quite Polite.
