John Vanderslice releases new EP, ‘Green Grow the Rushes’

John Vanderslice, local musician and Tiny Telephone owner, has released a new EP for 2010, post-Romanian Names – and unsurprisingly, it’s full of lovely new songs.
Green Grow the Rushes is available as a FREE digital download right now, via JV’s own website as well as his Tumblr. Vinyl versions of the EP will be available early next year. Green Grow the Rushes features Ian Bjornstad, Carla Kihlstedt, Daniel Hart (St. Vincent), Matthias Bossi, George Ban-Weiss, and Ben Goldberg, and “Lay Down” was produced and engineered by Jim Eno (Spoon).
