What started as an acoustic duo now flourishes as a six-piece ensemble, with appropriately lush and agile music to match. Cannons and Clouds‘ debut album, After All, is out now via iTunes – and if “Chameleons Migrate South” is any indication of the band’s potential, then we are all in store for some classically beautiful, folk-influenced indie rock, full of nimble strums and rich harmonies.

Cannons and Clouds are scheduled to play at Bottom of the Hill on Thursday, January 20th, opening for Retribution Gospel Choir and Peter Wolf Crier (9:00 pm, $10, 21+).
