New from Southpaw Records: Ty Segall live LP, Snake Flower 2 7″

The inimitable Southpaw Records has new records slated for release later this month from a couple of the Bay’s best. First up, Ty Segall and his band played at Southpaw’s anniversary party last summer, and the thirteen song set was captured for the Live in Aisle Five LP. Check out new song “California Commercial” (which was included in Ty’s recent Daytrotter session as “Come to California”) below:

Additionally, Matthew Melton has been getting a lot of attention lately for Bare Wires‘ excellent Seeking Love record, but there’s a new 7″ on Southpaw from his psychier (currently inactive?) band Snake Flower 2. Memory Castle features four songs, including the following:
