Hélène Renaut releases ‘The Deer Convention,’ album release show 3/9/11

Hélène Renaut‘s full-length album, The Deer Convention, comes with a star-studded roster: recorded by Jason Quever (Papercuts), and musical contributions from Matt Montgomery (Adam Haworth Stevens), Donovan Quinn (Skygreen Leopard, 13th Month), Jasmyn Wong (Skygreen Leopards) and members of the Mumlers.
“Bumblebee” gives us a taste of what all of the above manages to create – soft, echoey, warm folk:
Hélène will be celebrating the release of The Deer Convention on Wednesday, March 9th at Cafe du Nord (9:30 pm, $10, 21+). Emily Jane White will be opening, and Ed Masuga will be opening.
The album is available now via Bandcamp, and will be also be available via limited edition vinyl (with download card) at the show.
