New EP from The Heavenly States – ‘Oui Camera Oui’

The latest release from The Heavenly States (since 2008′s much-loved Delayer) comes to us in the form of the Oui Camera Oui EP, out on April 19th via Hippies Are Dead Records (a fairly new indie label).
The Heavenly States – “Model Son”
“Model Son” is an admirable expansion of the Heavenly States’ traditional sound – where 90s-inspired indie rock and hard riffs are replaced with smoother melodies and folksy edges. For fans of the stomp-clap-stomp-clap pattern, this song is a worthy contribution.
The Heavenly States will be making a special live appearance for Record Store Day 2011, performing at the Red Devil Lounge on April 16th (8:00 pm, $15, 21+).
