Jordan Dalrymple (Subtle/13 & God) just released his first album of funky, electronic pop as Antonionian and he has an album release show on March 23rd at the Rickshaw Stop (8pm, $10). Doseone and Jel support their Anticon labelmate with a solo set and a DJ set respectively.

Burger Boogaloo: Three days of garage, punk, and rock and roll

The Burger Boogaloo festival takes place at Thee Parkside and El Rincon from March 25th-27th. The fest features a bevy of surf/garage/trash/punk bands like The Traditional Fools, Mean Jeans, Moonhearts, Ty Segall, Davila 666, Strange Boys, and more.

Epicsauce has lined up three of SF’s best emerging synth rock and electronica acts — Exray’s, Phantom Kicks, and Yalls — to perform together at Milk on March 24th (8pm, $6). They’ll be joined by Baltimore’s Adventure, whose second album of retro-inspired electro pop is out this week on Carpark.

Portland’s The Parson Red Heads are preparing a new full length for release this summer, and the band is embarking on a West Coast tour. See them at the Hemlock Tavern on March 26th (9:30pm, $8), with locals Jean Marie and Laguna Sunrise.

    Great call picking The Parson Red Heads at the Hemlock! Another one that’s going to be great is Antioquia, The Beehavers and The Black Whales at the Starry Plough in Berkeley this Friday. It will be Maddy’s last show as frontwoman of Antioquia, and The Beehavers will be the subject of Popdose’s next Parlour to Parlour video interview, due to post on March 28. The Black Whales are from Seattle…
