Huichica Music Festival brings J Mascis, Sonny and the Sunsets and Fruit Bats to Sonoma winery

The Gundlach Bundschu Winery in Sonoma just announced the lineup for its second annual Huichica Music Festival on Saturday, June 4th (2-11pm). The show features eight bands on two stages, including headliners Fruit Bats, J Mascis, and Sonny and the Sunsets. Have you heard that new J Mascis mostly-acoustic record, Several Shades of Why? It’s quite stunning.
In addition to the big three, also performing are Richard Swift, These United States, Breathe Owl Breathe, Tu Fawning and David Williams.

Okay, so it sounds awesome, right? The only potential drag is the ticket price: general admission tickets are $55 per person (including a complimentary wine tasting). Still, that’s a strong lineup in what sounds like a pretty special venue. If you’re game, tickets go on sale April 5th at 10am.
