Saturday: free-form radio festival Operation: Restore Maximum Freedom XI with R. Stevie Moore, Kites Sail High, more

Here’s one final reminder regarding the abundance of music to take over rural Northern California this Saturday, May 14 from 2-10pm for Operation: Restore Maximum Freedom XI, the annual festival hosted by KDVS 90.3 FM.

Tune into the radio station this week for more information on the performing acts — you can stream the station live online, or visit archived programs. O:RMF’s headliner R. Stevie Moore was featured on the radio show “Phoning It In” this week, where guest musicians call in and perform songs over the telephone. Check through Phoning It In’s archives for some great sessions, including Cloud Nothings, Jolie Holland, Sea of Bees, Pure Ecstasy, Julianna Barwick, and many, many more.
