Video: Dodos – “Companion”

The Dodos have made inroads into art film noir music videos with tracks from No Color so far. Recalling the video for “Dark Night”, which depicted the band in a damp, dim 20s-era fight club, the video for “Companions” again takes Meric as the protagonist and victim in an eerie, unidentifiable situation. But we like him taking the lead role to a new stage (especially with that new-found mustache), and hope you do too!
In early April, The Dodos performed as a trio at the Google Campus in Mountain View; soon they’ll do some light touring around the states in early summer. Then it’s back to San Francisco for a performance at the Stern Grove Festival on July 3, supporting singer-songwriter and No Color collaborator, Neko Case. Tourdates are after the jump.
