Treasure Island lineup coming Monday: commence baseless speculation now

According to the festival’s web site, the lineup for the 2011 Treasure Island Music Festival will be revealed on Monday, so it seems like as good a time as any to engage in some wild speculation about who will or won’t be performing. Consequence of Sound has been collecting a batch of rumors, based in large part on notable SF area gaps in announced tour schedules for the fall.
Among the bands whose current schedules suggest either TIMF participation or bad business sense? Cut/Copy, St. Vincent, and Battles, with names like Death Cab for Cutie and others being tossed around as well.
