Muscle Drum (Bronze’s Robert Spector) releases ‘Fog Hag’ LP

New SF label Break Up recently released the first LP from Muscle Drum, the solo home recording project of Bronze‘s Robert Spector. Spector’s demos had previously been circulated on CD-Rs, and this LP collects a set of hazy synth-pop songs that periodically calls to mind Ariel Pink’s early works.
Muscle Drum performs at Saint John the Evangelist (15th St. between Mission and Valencia) on October 30th (6-9:30pm, $8-20 suggested donation, all ages) with Group Rhoda and Primary Structures. There will also be a showcase of Day of the Dead altars by nine artists.
