Mark Matos & Os Beaches to release ‘Coyote and the Crosser’

In March, local psych-rock mystic Mark Matos will release his second album with Mark Matos & Os Beaches, Coyote and the Crosser. Matos calls the new record a “psychedelic allegory, the story of my transformation into my cosmic alter ego, Trans Van Santos.” Matos’ prior Os Beaches release was a real gem, and you can stream the new album below:
Matos also heads up a “rock ‘n roll revue” called the Family Folk Explosion that has been holding a residency at Amnesia every Tuesday, where his house band is joined by guests that have included Matt Adams, Sean Hayes, and Tyson Vogel.
