(((folkYEAH!))) and CinemaSF have launched a very cool new event series at The Vogue Theatre called City Scenes, where local musicians perform an iconic album prior to a popular, independent film screening. The fourth installment goes down this Thursday when John Vanderslice drops by to perform David Bowie‘s legendary 1974 concept album Diamond Dogs. Following that will be a showing of the 2006 indy-comedy The Science of Sleep. Check out the trailer below and grab your $15 tickets here.
If you can’t make it on Thursday, or it’s not totally your thing, the third City Scenes is this Wednesday with the Sean Smith Trio performing Kraftwerk‘s Autobahn followed by The Big Lebowski. Dude!
