The Hot Toddies – “Boogie Nights”
A new addition to Tricycle Records, Oakland’s The Hot Toddies will release their EP, Bottoms Up, on February 5th. The five-track release features Heidi’s and Erin’s honey-soaked sweet voices singing about how “the last thing she wants is to be knocked up at 17″ over twangy guitar that echo of mid-century pop.
After playing a headlining slot at the Tricycle Records Holiday Party last year, this all-girl band is ready to be the new face of their label, with a new EP worthy of a sunny day at the beach. Singing of complicated dude issues and whiskey-fueled nights a-go-go, these ladies will next be playing in the East Bay at Berkeley’s The Starry Plough.
