Steezy Ray Vibes

While many people know Dan Casey best for his funky electronic dream pop produced under his moniker Yalls, folks should be aware that he is a man of many masks. Casey’s new solo project, Steezy Ray Vibes, has already caught a fair share of buzz, including an interview right here on The Bay Bridged done last July.

Steezy Ray Vibes’ latest release, the appropriately named “Endless Calm”, is rooted in summery acoustic guitar, complete with layers of drums, shakers, electric guitar and watery vocals – much like the layers of Yalls. Similarities and mastermind aside, the songwriting of Steezy Ray Vibes is certainly separate and different from Yalls, a step into the realm of non-electronic pop.
