Eux Autres release ‘Strangled Days’ EP

San Francisco’s Eux Autres have released their newest indie pop package, Strangled Days. The four-song EP, recorded by Jason Quever (Papercuts), is available as a 10″ UK import and digitally, and is (mostly) streamable above. More about the release can be found on the band’s web site.
The band was started by brother/sister duo Nicholas and Heather Larimer. Last year, Yoshi Nakamoto (Aislers Set, Still Flyin’) joined in on drums.

Minneapolis’ Greycoats (“Goodbye, Sweet Youth, Goodbye”) have a West Coast trip this month that includes a date with their former tourmates Loquat, during Loquat’s residency at Cafe Du Nord. The show’s on Thursday, May 7th with Head Like A Kite and DJ Elise (SomaFM).
John Vanderslice (“Too Much Time”) celebrates the Tuesday, May 19th release of his excellent new album Romanian Names (Dead Oceans) with a show that night at the Rickshaw Stop. Special guests still to be announced!
San Francisco’s Photons (“Where Were You Last Night”) celebrate the release of their new EP Glory! with a performance at the Hemlock Tavern. Wax Fingers and Spencey Dude and the Doodles support.
LA band Army Navy (“My Thin Sides”) bring their power pop up the coast for a show on Wednesday, May 13th at the Rickshaw Stop. Locals 20 Minute Loop and AB & the Sea round out an high-quality bill.
Touring behind their terrific new album Now We Can See, The Thermals have two dates in SF on their nationwide tour. They’ll be at Bottom of the Hill on Saturday, May 30th (with The Shaky Hands, Bachelorette, and DJ BAGeL Ted) and Sunday, May 31st (with The Shaky Hands and Point Juncture, WA).
